Copyright and other things

Dear visitor

As you will have surmised I do not sell my work, and therefore make no money from my writing. Indeed the opposite is true for there are many costs, from the purchasing of software; web hosting, and the not inconsiderable cost of running  my computer as I write and work on my web-sites. Plus of course the many many hours sat at the keyboard in the spare bedroom, with the electric fire on to keep my fingers warm. That said there is no-one standing behind me with a gun to my head.

‘Why then do I do it?’ you may ask, and the answer is simple. I love writing and I hope that some of you out there enjoy reading my stories, for that is my only reward. The thought that there are people out there; who knows where; strangers who I will probably never meet, who are getting the same pleasure from reading that I experienced while writing.. Am I dreaming ? Perhaps; but we all have our dreams!

I hope therefore that you will respect my copyright both for my writing and for my pictures. If for any reason  you may wish to use my work elsewhere please ask first (chances are I will say yes) and be sure that I am credited as the author.

Finally, for the reasons already mentioned I would be delighted to hear from you. Send me an e-mail, or a message in my  Guest Book and I promise to reply.
