Cats And Dogs
I love my cat, and I love my dog,
my happiness is complete.
The cat sits on my lap,
and the dog sits at my feet.
Now the cat is so imperious;
in it=s own way will behave.
It treats me cool, with scant regard,
the master not the slave.
But the dog it is quite different;
a friend when times are hard.
It looks at me with anxious eyes,
my life, my heart, to guard.
But I love them just the same you see,
for they live how they were made.
Not good, not bad, but different,
each one as nature laid.
And just like them, we=re different;
rejoice in what you are.
We=re all a bit like chalk and cheese,
a gift from those before.
Shout out the good, hold down the bad
Let everyone find their star.
Be proud that there=s just ONE of you,
life made you what you are.
