They all said;
that love means never having to say you=re sorry.
So I never did.
They all said, that whatever I said or did she=d understand.
So I did what I liked.
They all smiled when she left in such a hurry. “It=s just a huff.”
So I smiled.
They all said “She=ll come back; just you wait and see.”
So I waited.
They all said “Take my word; you=re better off without her.”
So I took their word.
They all said “You=ll soon find another.”
But I never did.
They all said that I would forget her.
